As part of my Taking Control series I have interviewed the lovely and very knowledgable Aly Dilks, who is a British Menopause Society accredited Menopause specialist, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and founder of Simply Menopausal.

In this interview she talks about understanding the signs you are starting the Peri-menopause, getting the right support and advice and hope you can manage the symptoms. She shares some brilliant information and tips on coping, so it's definitely worth a watch.

You can find Aly on Instagram and Facebook at 'Simply Menopausal' and can get in contact with her or book an appointment at www.simplymenopausal.co.uk

She also runs a Facebook support community that everyone is welcome to join, called Simply Menopausal Community

Simply Menopausal Community

The taking control series has been developed to give you lots of ways you can start to feel more in control, whatever your menopause experience is like.

I've been recording interviews with some amazing people to get some insight and advice on how you can take back control of your life, whatever your situation, and I will be continuing to share them.
