As part of my Taking Control series I have interviewed the brilliant Emily Barclay, who is the founder of the Perimenopause Hub.

We had a lovely chat about her experience of starting with the perimenopause at 39, getting a diagnosis and how she now supports other women through the perimenopause.

Emily offers great advice and her hub is a huge support to so many women looking for a space for those going through the menopause earlier than society expects.

You can find Emily on Instagram and Facebook at 'Perimenopause Hub' and can get in contact with her at www.perimenopausehub.com

The taking control series has been developed to give you lots of ways you can start to feel more in control, whatever your menopause experience is like.

I've been recording interviews with some amazing people to get some insight and advice on how you can take back control of your life, whatever your situation, and I will be continuing to share them.
