This is the fourth interview of my Taking Control Series which has been developed to give you lots of ways you can start to feel more in control, whatever your journey looks like.

This episode features the lovely James Kemsley, a Fertility Coach ‘supporting men through life’. He is supporting men through infertility, IVF, and baby loss, and has a great ‘mates at the pub’ approach to talking to people, so they feel at ease to open up.

In this interview James talks about how, as a barber, men often open up to him about how they feel, so he has gained an understanding about how to support them.

We also talk about how clinics and professionals need to understand and consider the male partner more in treatment, how men can cope through the process of IVF and his own personal infertility and baby loss experience with his lovely wife Emma.

There is still not enough support for men through the whole TTC and IVF experience, so it's great to see James flying the flag for the boys and working to increase awareness and support.

He is supporting men in a very down to earth and conversational way, so that men feel safe and comfortable opening up on how they feel.

The taking control series has been developed to give you lots of ways you can start to feel more in control, whatever your journey looks like.

I've been recording interviews with some amazing people working in the Fertility industry to get some insight and advice on how you can take back control of your Fertility journey and your life, whatever your situation, and I will be continuing to share them over the next few weeks.
